Qu'est-ce que Solana ?

Solana est une blockchain décentralisée conçue pour permettre le développement d’applications évolutives et conviviales. Elle a été lancée en 2017 par la Solana Foundation, basée à Genève, et Solana Labs, basée à San Francisco. Solana peut, en théorie, traiter jusqu’à 65 000 transactions par seconde avec de faibles frais, en combinant les mécanismes de consensus de type preuve d'enjeu et preuve d'historique. La cryptomonnaie native de Solana, utilisée pour le paiement des frais de transaction, s’appelle SOL. Elle n’a, en théorie, aucun plafond d’offre totale.
