It operates through the following business segments: Energy, Ag, Nitrogen Production and Corporate and Other. The Energy segment produces and provides primarily for the wholesale distribution of petroleum products and transportation of products. The Ag segment purchases and further processes or resells grains and oilseeds originated by the country operations business. The Nitrogen Production segment consists solely of equity method investment in CF Nitrogen. The Corporate and Other represents financing and hedging businesses, which primarily consists of commodities hedging, financial services related to crop production, and insurance. The company was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Inver Grove Heights, MN.

The line chart allows you to select different time spans. Each time span plots a time interval. On the 1 day span and weekly span, there is additional logic to only show the interval when trades occur. This allows you to see when trading volume occurs during periods of slower activity like extended hours or thinly traded equities. The candlestick chart works in the same manner.

Charts for 24 Hour Market securities display activity from 12 - 12 localized time. The “High” and “Low” statistics represent the highest and lowest values from 12 AM - 12 AM localized time. This includes market, extended, and overnight hours. Overnight volume displays the number of shares that are traded on the BOATS ATS during overnight hours, from 8 PM - 4 AM ET.
