WellCare Health Plans, Inc. engages in the provision of government-sponsored managed care services to families, children, seniors, and individuals with medical needs. It operates through the following segments: Medicaid Health Plans, Medicare Health Plans, and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs). The Medicaid Health Plans segment includes plans for beneficiaries of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Aged Blind and Disabled (ABD), and other state-based programs that are not part of the Medicaid program. The Medicare Health Plans segment refers to the federal program that offers eligible persons age 65 and over and some disabled persons with a variety of hospital, medical, and prescription drug benefits. The Medicare PDPs segment serves as a plan sponsor offering stand-alone Medicare Part D PDP plans to Medicare-eligible beneficiaries through this segment. On the 1 day span and weekly span, there is additional logic to only show the interval when trades occur. Charts for 24 Hour Market securities display activity from 12 - 12 localized time. The “High” and “Low” statistics represent the highest and lowest values from 12 AM - 12 AM localized time. This includes market, extended, and overnight hours. Overnight volume displays the number of shares that are traded on the BOATS ATS during overnight hours, from 8 PM - 4 AM ET.
