Who is invited?

Robinhood Presents: To Catch a Token is an exclusive, invite-only experience for select Robinhood customers, partners, analysts, and VIPs. To register for the event, open the link in the email you received from register@events.robinhood.com. You’ll get an email confirmation after you register or RSVP.

When is it?

To Catch a Token is June 30, 2025. Registration opens at 2 PM CEST with shuttles departing from the Carlton Cannes hotel for the venue at 3 PM CEST. The event will take place over several hours from the late afternoon into the night. See below for a detailed schedule, including registration/check-in and shuttle times.

What is the full schedule for the event? (All times CEST)

  • 2 PM: Registration/event check-in at the Carlton Cannes
  • 3 PM: Shuttle service begins from the Carlton Cannes to the event venue
  • 3:30 PM: Welcome reception
  • 5 PM: Vlad’s Keynote
  • 6 PM: Demos & networking (cocktail party)
  • 7:30 PM: Dinner with fireside chats from crypto thought leaders
  • 10 PM: Evening entertainment

Shuttles begin return trips to the Carlton Cannes at 10 PM and will continue over the next few hours.

Where is the event?

Robinhood Presents: To Catch a Token will take place at a historic château in Cannes, France. The exact location and address will be shared in your confirmation email.

What does my invite include?

A confirmed invite for To Catch a Token includes:

  • Exclusive shuttle transportation to and from the event at La Croisette (exact location to come)

This invite does not include flights to/from Cannes, city transportation (e.g., Ubers, taxis), and accommodations.

Does my invite include a guest?

No, invites are exclusive to the invitees only.

Waitlist

Once all spaces and guest spots are filled, you may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available and we’re able to move you off the waitlist, we will contact you via email from events@robinhood.com.

Can I join virtually?

Yes. On June 30, 2025 at 5 PM CEST, Vlad Tenev’s keynote address will be live streamed in the app and Robinhood’s YouTube and X channels. Follow the instructions on our site to receive a reminder about the livestream.

Can I make changes to my registration?

For any questions or changes regarding your invitation, you can email us at events@robinhood.com. Keep in mind that tickets are not refundable, exchangeable, transferable, or replaceable if lost or stolen.

What is the cancellation & no show policy?

If you are unable to attend, please notify us by email at events@robinhood.com. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.

Can I attend the event if I’m under 18?

To Catch a Token is an 18 and over event only.

Can I attend if I’m not in the financial services industry?

Yes.

Can I attend if I work for a different financial institution?

Yes.

Can I be considered a VIP for events in the future even if I can’t attend To Catch a Token?

Yes.

What is the dress code?

Robinhood events are professional casual—meaning comfortable, yet appropriate for both social and professional settings without being overly formal. Suggested clothing:

Fabrics: Prioritize breathable, lightweight materials like linen, cotton, and silk.

Women:

  • Sundresses in various lengths (midi, maxi, or knee-length)
  • Tailored shorts or skirts paired with a linen shirt or blouse
  • Flowing pants or wide-leg trousers
  • Lightweight cardigans or blazers for cooler evenings

Men:

  • Linen shirts or polo shirts
  • Tailored shorts or chinos
  • Lightweight jackets or blazers for cooler evening

Shoes: to get around the venue, you’ll be walking on pathways including stone, gravel, and grass. Please keep this in mind when planning your footwear. We do not recommend wearing shoes with thin, pointy heels to avoid any issues in the grass.

Note

Our event venue will be taking place outdoors in the French Riviera during the summer from the afternoon into the evening. You can expect to be outdoors in the sun and there will be ample shaded areas for our guests.

What weather is expected during To Catch a Token?

The expected weather in June/July in the South of France is highs of 80°F with lows of 70°F (27°C/21°C). As the event will take place outdoors, it is recommended to wear comfortable light clothing that is weather appropriate. Sunscreen and shaded areas will be available at the venue.

What is the bag policy?

To ensure everyone’s safety, we ask that guests travel light and avoid bringing extra items such as large bags or laptops. All bags will be subject to search, and any prohibited items must be checked at the complimentary station located at the shuttle pick-up point. Review the following bag size and type restrictions below.

  • One small clutch or purse no larger than 11.43cm x 16.51cm
  • Clear tote bags no larger than 30cm length x 16cm width x 30cm height

  • Large purses (see size restrictions above)

Will there be a coat and bag check at the venue?

No. It is recommended that guests travel light and do not bring any luggage, large bags, laptops, etc. Bag and coat check will be available at the shuttle pick up location at the Carlton Cannes.

What is the event’s camera and video policy?

Robinhood events utilize a Casual Guests Photography Policy. Unless otherwise stated, guests may capture casual photography and videography within the main event space.

Activities and equipment prohibited by the Casual Guest Photography Policy include:

  • Flash photography and videography during the keynote will be restricted to limit distractions.
  • Professional equipment such as lenses of 13cm or greater, ladders, tripods and other accessories will not be permitted.
  • Commercial and media photography requires prior approval from Robinhood (unless for pre-approved media outlets).
  • Event furniture, ropes, stanchions, and other property may not be moved to accommodate photography, nor may they be used as props.

Is there a list of prohibited items?

Yes. All bags and items will be searched, and prohibited items must be checked at the complimentary station. Review the following list of approved and prohibited items prior to the event.

Approved items:

  • Casual cameras (no case)
  • Small video camera (no case)
  • Binoculars (no case)
  • Umbrellas
  • Phone, keys, and wallet
  • Tablets and laptops
  • Infant feeding supplies
  • Sealed plastic water bottles (under 20 oz.)

Prohibited items:

  • Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Balls, frisbees, whole fruit or any other potential projectiles
  • Bicycles, skateboards or scooters
  • Cans, glass, hydration packs, thermos, metal bottles, and open containers (unless purchased in the event)
  • Fireworks, lighters, incendiary devices, guns, knives or weapons of any type
  • Horns, noisemakers or other amplified sound equipment
  • Poles, sticks, banners or flags
  • Laser pointers
  • Remote controlled devices or any kind
  • Strollers or portable chairs (unless EAA compliant)
  • Tobacco and smoking products

Is To Catch a Token wheelchair accessible / EAA compliant (The European Accessibility Act)?

Yes.

Are service animals allowed?

Yes, service animals are welcome. In line with the The European Accessibility Act (EAA), individuals with disabilities may bring their service animals into public spaces. Please ensure your dog is well-trained, meets health requirements, and is visibly identified as a service dog with a harness and identification tag.

How do I get to/from the event venue?

Event guests will be required to take organised shuttles from Carlton Cannes to and from the event. Information regarding shuttle pickup and dropoff location, as well as shuttle times, will be shared as we get closer to the event. No self-transfers (via Uber/ Car shares etc.) or parking will be permitted at the event venue.

What is the nearest airport to the event venue?

The event venue is located approximately 15 minutes from central Cannes. The closest airport to Cannes and the event venue is Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) - 19 Rue Costes et Bellonte, 06200 Nice, France.

Yes! Robinhood will have a booth at EthCC. Please come visit us, chat with the team, and grab some swag. EthCC will be taking place at the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes (Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, 1 Bd de la Croisette, 06400 Cannes) from Monday, June 30-Thursday, July 3.
