Why can’t I buy stocks after covering my margin call?

You can’t buy stocks on the day you cover your margin call.

Covering a margin call means that you’ve sold enough stock or deposited enough funds to get above your margin maintenance. A margin call isn’t fully resolved until you close a trading day with a portfolio value above your margin maintenance requirement.
