Que faire si je n’ai pas de numéro d’identification fiscale international ou d’adresse internationale?

Si vous n’êtes pas considéré(e) comme une personne résidant aux États-Unis à des fins fiscales et vous n’avez pas de numéro d’identification fiscale international ou d’adresse internationale, communiquez avec l’assistance pour obtenir de l’aide.

Comment puis-je corriger mon nom?

Pour mettre à jour votre nom légal ou corriger l’orthographe, vous devez nous envoyer une demande avec les renseignements suivants :

  • Une photo du document indiquant le changement de nom légal
  • Une pièce d’identité avec photo à jour portant votre nom légal

Nous vous enverrons un formulaire à signer pour confirmer la demande. Après avoir reçu la demande contenant les renseignements requis, nous mettrons à jour votre nom dans notre système. Nous pourrions également demander des renseignements supplémentaires.

Que sont la NCD et le CDC?

La Norme commune de déclaration (NCD) et le Cadre de déclaration des cryptoactifs (CDC) sont des initiatives mondiales de transparence fiscale élaborées par l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE) qui visent à améliorer l’échange automatique de renseignements financiers. La NCD a été initialement mise en œuvre en 2016 et couvrait les titres et les comptes financiers traditionnels, mais elle a récemment été élargie pour englober la finance et les actifs numériques. Le CDC est mis en place en 2026 pour répondre spécifiquement aux besoins en matière de déclaration de renseignements découlant de l’essor des cryptoactifs.

Lorsque vous remplirez l’attestation, vous devrez fournir les renseignements suivants :

  • Nom
  • Pays de citoyenneté
  • Adresse de résidence
  • Lieu de naissance
  • Date de naissance
  • Numéro(s) d’identification fiscale (NIF)
  • Pays de résidence fiscale
Quel type de renseignements Robinhood Canada est-elle tenue de transmettre aux autorités fiscales?

Chaque année, Robinhood Canada est tenue de transmettre des renseignements sur ses clients et leurs comptes à l’autorité fiscale compétente au Canada (l’Agence du revenu du Canada ou ARC).

  • Aux fins de la NCD et du CDC, tous les renseignements sur les clients recueillis dans le cadre du processus de recertification fiscale seront communiqués.
  • Aux fins de la NCD, un rapport global des soldes de compte annuels sera communiqué.
  • Aux fins du CDC, un rapport détaillé des transactions pour l’activité annuelle du compte sera communiqué.

Selon votre résidence fiscale, l’ARC pourrait communiquer ces renseignements aux autorités fiscales d’autres territoires.

Quels sont des exemples de renseignements qui seront transmis aux autorités fiscales?

Selon l’activité de votre compte, vous pourriez être assujetti(e) à la déclaration au titre de la NCD, du CDC ou des deux. Un exemple de renseignements déclarés au titre de la NCD serait le revenu divers total payé au cours de l’année d’imposition. Un exemple de déclaration au titre du CDC serait les transactions d’achat ou de vente pour un cryptoactif donné, comme le bitcoin. À compter de l’exercice 2027, la déclaration au titre de la NCD et du CDC sera exigée.
