The Lost City of Gold event

Who is invited?

Robinhood’s Lost City of Gold event is by invite only for the invitee and an additional guest (+1) are welcome as registered attendees. To register for the event, open the link in the email you received from us. You’ll get an email confirmation after you register or RSVP.

Can I join virtually?

Yes. Vlad Tenev’s keynote address will be live streamed in the app and on https://go.robinhood.com/presents (link won’t be live until March 7, 2025), YouTube, FaceBook, and X. Follow the instructions to get a reminder about the live stream.

When does it start?

It starts on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 5:30 PM PT. The keynote starts at 6:30 PM PT.

What does my invite include?

Your invite includes:

  • Entrance to the event
  • Greeting receptions with food and beverages
  • Seating and access to Vlad’s keynote
  • Early access to new Robinhood products
  • Entertainment and networking opportunities at a Gold celebration post-keynote
  • Swag, surprises, and more

Tickets do not include flights, transportation, hotels, or other accommodations.

Does my invite include a guest?

During the RSVP registration process, you’re allowed to add 1 guest (+1), who is subject to review and approval on a limited, first come, first serve basis. ALL guests will be reviewed by Robinhood before the guest’s reservations are confirmed. After a review, you and your guest will get an email welcoming you to the event.

  • Before March 19, 2025: If your approved guest cannot attend, email us at events@robinhood.com to register an alternate guest, pending review. If your guest doesn’t get approved, you’ll get a chance to register an alternate guest.

  • After March 19, 2025: Absolutely no substitutions will be allowed, nor will guests who are not registered and confirmed be accepted at the door. Review the full registration process for details.

Waitlist

If the event gets sold out, you can sign up for our waitlist via email at events@robinhood.com. We’ll email you if a space opens up before March 19, 2025.

Can I make changes to my registration?

For any questions about your invitation, you can email us at events@robinhood.com. Keep in mind that tickets are not refundable, exchangeable, transferable, or replaceable if lost or stolen.

What’s the bag policy?

We will be limiting the size and type of bags that’ll be permitted. All bags will be searched, and prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle or checked at the complimentary coat check station.

Approved bags

  • 1 small clutch or purse that’s no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches
  • 1 laptop bag that’s no larger than 9 x 13 inches (must have computer inside, subject to search)
  • 1 clear tote bags no larger than 12 x 12 x 6 inches
  • 1 diaper bag (only allowed for a child who’s 3 years or younger)

Prohibited bags

  • Backpacks
  • Drawstring bags
  • Fanny packs
  • Large purses (refer to previous list for approved bag sizes)
  • Grocery bags
  • Umbrellas
  • Duffle bags
  • Tote bags
  • Camera cases

What’s the event’s camera and video policy?

Our Robinhood events utilize a Casual Guests Photography Policy unless otherwise stated, attendees may capture casual photos and videos within the main event space.

However, the following activities and equipment are prohibited:

  • No flash photography and videography during the keynote (restricted to limit distractions)
  • No professional equipment, including lenses that are 5 inches or more, ladders, tripods, or other similar accessories
  • No commercial and media photography that don’t have prior approval from Robinhood (pre-approved media outlets are the exception)
  • No event furniture, ropes, stanchions, and other property may be moved to accommodate photography, nor may they be used as props

What’s prohibited?

In addition to our bag policy that limits the size and types of bags allowed. All bags and items will be searched, and prohibited items must be returned to your vehicle or checked at the complimentary station.

Approved items

  • Casual camera with no case
  • Small video camera with no case
  • Binoculars with no case
  • Phone, keys, and wallet
  • Tablets and laptops
  • Infant feeding supplies
  • Sealed plastic water bottles (20 ounces or less)

Prohibited items

  • Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs
  • Tobacco or smoking products
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Strollers or portable chairs (unless ADA compliant)
  • Balls, frisbees, whole fruit, or any other potential projectiles
  • Bicycles, skateboards, or scooters
  • Cans, glass, hydration packs, thermoses, or metal bottles, or open containers (unless purchased in the event)
  • Fireworks, lighters, incendiary devices, guns, knives, or weapons of any type
  • Horns, noisemakers, or other amplified sound equipment
  • Poles, sticks, banners, or flags
  • Laser pointers
  • Remote controlled devices of any kind

Is the event ADA compliant?

Yes, the event is wheelchair accessible and is compliant according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Are service animals allowed?

Yes, service animals are welcome at the event. In line with the ADA, individuals with disabilities may bring their service animals into public spaces. Keep in mind that your service animal must be well-controlled and leashed at all times
