By registering for this event (Event), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
You are required to bring a government-issued photo ID that matches the legal name and age you provided during registration.
This event is an 18 and over event only.
Cancellation by Us (Show Producer):
Robinhood UK Limited (“Robinhood” or “we”) reserve the right to cancel the registration of any attendee for any reason as determined at our sole discretion.
By registering, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in cancellation of your registration.
We reserve the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, speaker illness, minimum attendance not met).
In the case of cancellation, you will be notified as soon as possible.
We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred due to a canceled event.
We may, at our discretion, offer an alternative event or reschedule the canceled event.
Registration Changes:
You may request changes to your registration (e.g., name, dietary restrictions) by contacting us at register@events.robinhood.com up to 7 days before the event.
We will try our best to accommodate changes, but cannot guarantee them.
Tickets are not exchangeable, transferable, or replaceable if lost or stolen.
Code of Conduct:
You agree to act professionally and respectfully at the event.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove attendees from the event for disruptive behavior or violation of these terms.
You agree that you will not bring into the event dangerous items or weapons.
You agree that no information provided at the event shall constitute investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell securities or engage in an investment strategy.
Limitation of Liability:
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your attendance at the event, including personal injury, loss of property, or damages caused by other attendees.
Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any term or provision of this Release should be declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining terms and provisions of this Release shall remain unimpaired and in full force and effect.
NIL and Liability Waiver:
You expressly acknowledge and agree that you are knowingly and voluntarily participating in the Event and freely accept any and all risks, both known and unknown of injury or property damage.
You grant permission to Robinhood, its affiliates, successors, assigns, agents, representatives, and its other marketing and advertising agencies (collectively “Licensees”) to make photographs, video recordings and/or voice recordings of you (collectively “Recordings”) for the production of educational, public relations, marketing, promotional or advertising materials, or otherwise in connection with Robinhood, its products and/or services and one or more promotional, advertising, or public relations campaigns (the “Campaign(s)”) and hereby grant to Licensees the unlimited, royalty-free, irrevocable and perpetual right to use, edit, reproduce, publish, adapt, distribute, broadcast, publicly display and otherwise exploit (including the right to sublicense) such Recordings, together with your name, image, voice/sounds, likeness, tattoos, performance, biographical information, pseudonym, and other indicia of your identity (collectively “Likeness”), in whole or in part, as Robinhood deems appropriate, at Robinhood’s sole discretion, worldwide, and in any media, including electronic media, now known or hereinafter invented in perpetuity in connection with such materials or for any other lawful purposes, for commercial purposes and for Licensee’s internal and/or archival purposes thereafter. You further represent that any statements made by you during your participation are true, to the best of your knowledge, and that neither they nor your participation will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party.
You understand you will not receive any compensation for Licensees use of the Recordings and/ or your Likeness, and you waive any right or option to inspect or approve the finished product or advertising or other copy that may be used along with the Recordings and your Likeness. You waive and release any claims you now have or in the future may have against Licensees, their respective subsidiary or affiliated companies, their officers and directors and other agents, employees or subcontractors who may be involved in the creation or implementation of the Event, disseminating the Recordings, and to the photographer, the advertising agency or publisher of print or electronic material or media in which the Recordings and your Likeness may be used (collectively the “Releasees”) relating to or arising out of the use of such Recordings and use of your Likeness, including, without limitation, any claims for compensation for the use of such materials. You also understand that any use, including the broadcast and publication, of the Recordings is within the sole discretion of Robinhood and that they may decide not to use the materials at all.
You understand that any personal data collected as part of this release will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Action 2018. The Company will retain the Recordings and any associated personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the above-stated purposes, or until you withdraw consent, where applicable.
You will consider as confidential any information that Robinhood deems confidential and/or proprietary, whether disclosed orally and/or in writing (“Information”) that you receive from Robinhood in connection with the Event and will use Information from Robinhood solely for the purposes of the Event. You will also not disclose or communicate any statements made, or information provided, by me, Robinhood or any other Event attendees or participants to any external person(s) and/or entities by mouth, written material or electronically, including without limitation, via blog or e-mail.
