Robinhood offers tools you can use to gain new insights into your current and future investments.
To see the total value of your stock positions and customise how your holdings are shown, go to Investing → Stocks.
To get new insights into your options investing performance and customise how your holdings are displayed, go to Investing → Options. You can view your net options performance over the period of time you select. For more details, review the Investing with options articles.
You can customise how your data is shown by using the following filters in Stocks → Holdings using the sort icon:
Total return is the amount of money you’d make or lose on the security if it’s sold at the current market price.
The chart shows you an overview of your options performance for a given time period. Instead of showing the total market value, it tracks the live and historical returns of your positions. When you select a bar, you can view how much you made or lost on both the open and closed positions.
Your performance is calculated as the difference between the starting value and the ending value of the timeframe you choose. For example, in the 1-week view, each bar shows how your performance at the end of the day is compared to the beginning of that day.
Open positions are options that can still change in market value. They might be long calls, long puts, covered calls, cash-secured puts, and spreads.
