Market data sources for Robinhood Legend
Robinhood Legend sources quotes and data for stocks and options from several different exchanges, depending on the trading session, to give customers access to important trading information.
Since Legend uses data from multiple sources, it's possible that market data points on Legend may not exactly match the data in-app or on web classic. You may notice this discrepancy with the data points listed below. These data points show across different widgets, including watchlists, positions, and more.
National Best Bid and Offer (NBBO) data is available on the Robinhood app, web classic, and Legend at the time you place any securities trade. Keep in mind that NBBO is only available during US market hours.
Each data point in the above list may not be available for every asset tradable in Legend.
Your account value uses the same sources as the Robinhood app, so your account value, buying power, and cash will show the same across Legend, the Robinhood app, and web classic.
The value of your positions in Legend uses a mark price derived from the multi-exchange source used by the rest of Legend. This means the sum of your positions’ market value in Legend may differ slightly from your total account value.
Market data shown on Robinhood Legend for stocks comes from Nasdaq Basic, NYSE BQT, Cboe One, MEMX, IEX, Blue Ocean, OTC Markets, and OPRA (for options trading only).
While there is no additional cost to use Legend, there are other fees associated with your individual investing account. Review Robinhood UK’s Fee Schedule for details. Robinhood Legend is only available to Robinhood investing customers.
As the Robinhood Legend trading platform is available in multiple jurisdictions, there may be Robinhood products displayed on the platform which are not available to customers in the UK. Price data for non-tradeable products is made available for information purposes only and is not an offer, recommendation, inducement, or invitation to buy, sell, or hold any securities, or to engage in any investment activity or strategy.
Robinhood doesn’t endorse or adopt any particular investment strategy or approach to evaluating individual securities or assets. Robinhood Legend use is for informational purposes only and is not an offer, recommendation, inducement or invitation to buy, sell or hold any securities, or to engage in any investment activity or strategy. Some of the capabilities of Robinhood Legend may be different or absent from what is offered via the Robinhood mobile app or Robinhood classic. Be sure you understand these differences and what will work best for you.
