Update your email address

If you need to update the email address affiliated with your Robinhood account, use the following steps.

App

Select Account (person icon) → Menu (3 bars) or Settings (gear)
Select Settings → Personal information
Select Email address
Follow the on-screen instructions for the update

Web classic

Select Account → Settings
In Personal information, select your email address
Enter the updated email address, and then select Continue
Follow the on-screen instructions for the update

Note

If we have reason to believe your email is incorrect, your account may be temporarily restricted until we can confirm your correct email address.

If our clearing partner isn’t able to deliver emails to the email address you’ve provided, you’ll receive a notification requesting that you update your email address on file. Please make sure that you allow emails from Robinhood and ProxyVote (or Mediant) to reach your inbox. Prolonged issues with your email address could result in an account restriction.
