Sign in with a new device
Got a new phone or tablet? We’ll walk you through how to set up your new device.
To sign in to your Robinhood account on a new device, you’ll need to use the following applicable instructions depending on whether you had Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on your old device, if you still have your old device, and whether you still have your backup code.
Passkeys by Apple allow you to sign in to Robinhood from all your Apple devices without using a password. It’s easier and more secure than using a password to sign in. Learn how to Set up passkeys.
Device approvals are an extra level of security meant to help keep your Robinhood account safe. Any time you update your account information or log in to Robinhood on a new device, we’ll send a notification to each of your mobile devices to verify it’s really you taking the action. You can either approve the notification to complete the action, or deny it to help secure your Robinhood account instantly. Learn how to Enable device approvals.
When you change your phone number to log in, we'll ask you to verify your identity to help ensure your account's security.
For SMS, use the steps in Have 2FA enabled with SMS
Use the steps in Regenerate a Backup code on your new device.
