Stocks & shares ISA cash bonus

You may be eligible to earn a cash bonus when you make eligible contributions into your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA from your linked bank account. Current offer details, including the bonus rate, maximum bonus, offer window, and any campaign-specific rules, are detailed below in the Robinhood offer experience and terms.

Which deposits are eligible?

When you deposit cash from your linked bank account into your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA, you may earn a cash bonus on those contributed funds, subject to the current offer terms.

To qualify, the deposit must:

  • come from your linked bank account
  • be successfully completed during the applicable offer period
  • settle in your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA

Which deposits are not eligible?

The offer does not apply to:

  • ISA transfers into your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA from another ISA provider
  • internal transfers from your Robinhood brokerage account into your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA
  • rejected, cancelled, or delayed deposits that do not successfully settle during the applicable offer period

How is the cash bonus calculated?

Your cash bonus is based on the value of your eligible deposit and the bonus rate available under the current promotion, up to any maximum bonus amount set out in the offer terms. Only eligible deposits count toward the cash bonus.

Keep in mind the following:

  • the bonus is only available for eligible deposits that successfully transfer and settle
  • deposits from ISA transfers or internal Robinhood transfers do not count toward the bonus
  • you are responsible for staying within the annual ISA contribution limit across all of your ISAs (£20k) per tax year, including any held outside Robinhood
Example

If you deposit money into your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA from your linked bank account, that amount may qualify for the cash bonus.

If, separately, you transfer money from another ISA provider or move money from your Robinhood brokerage account into your ISA, those amounts would not qualify for the bonus.

When do I get the cash bonus?

Generally, the cash bonus is paid after your eligible ISA deposit has been processed successfully and settled, subject to the current offer terms.

How do I get the cash bonus?

The cash bonus is paid into your Robinhood brokerage account and is typically ready to invest once your eligible deposit has fully settled.

If the bonus is paid in USD, Robinhood uses the applicable foreign exchange rate at the time the bonus is calculated or paid, as described in the offer terms.

Can I keep the cash bonus if I withdraw money from my ISA?

Whether you keep the full cash bonus depends on how long you keep the eligible funds in your Robinhood stocks & shares ISA.

If you maintain the eligible funds for the 1 year holding period described in the applicable offer terms, the bonus is yours to keep.

If you withdraw some or all of those funds before the holding period ends, some or all of your cash bonus may be removed or charged back.

How is a reversal calculated?

If you withdraw eligible funds before the required holding period ends, Robinhood may calculate a bonus reversal based on factors such as:

  • the portion of your qualifying contributions that was withdrawn
  • the amount of bonus associated with those contributions
  • the amount of time remaining in the holding period

If your bonus was paid in USD, any reversal may also be applied in USD, as described in the applicable terms.

If there is not enough available USD cash for the reversal, Robinhood may recover the amount from available cash in your brokerage account, subject to the applicable offer terms.

Terms and conditions

The offer is subject to the applicable Robinhood bonus terms in effect at the time of your deposit.

Eligibility

The ISA bonus is available only to customers who:

  • have a Robinhood brokerage account in good standing
  • have a Robinhood stocks & shares ISA
  • make one or more eligible deposits into their Robinhood stocks & shares ISA

Limitations

Any cash bonus paid is conditional and may be reversed if you do not meet the requirements of the offer.

Robinhood reserves the right, to the extent allowed by law, to decline to grant the cash bonus or to charge back funds if it determines that:

  • you did not meet the offer requirements
  • there may have been fraudulent activity
  • there was a violation of the applicable terms

Robinhood may change or withdraw an offer at any time, subject to applicable law.

The offer is not transferable or saleable.

The offer is available only to eligible UK residents with a Robinhood UK brokerage account and a Robinhood stocks & shares ISA.

The offer is for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes. Other restrictions may apply.

Taxes

The fair market value of your cash bonus may be reflected on tax forms where required by law. Robinhood UK does not provide tax advice. If you have questions about your personal tax situation, consider seeking independent tax advice.
