You can manage your privacy preferences, such as password and device security, in the app in Settings → Security and privacy.
If you are logged into your Robinhood account, you can easily change your password. When creating a new password, make sure it is at least 10 characters and is not a password that you have recently used.
2-factor authentication (2FA) helps protect your Robinhood account by requiring two sources of verification to sign in: something you know (your password) and something you have (your mobile device). Every time you log in or make changes to your Robinhood account, you will get a request for a verification code.
All Robinhood accounts are protected with 2FA for new devices. This is a layer of security applied to all Robinhood accounts to keep your Robinhood account secure.
2FA can verify your identity by SMS. You will get a one-time code sent through SMS on your mobile device.
