Fantom (FTM) has begun its transition to the new Sonic (S) token on the Sonic network. In response to this change, Robinhood Crypto will support the Sonic token and will convert any FTM held by its customers to S tokens at a 1:1 basis.

• 13 January 2025: FTM trading and transfers will pause at 16:00:00 (CEST).
• 17 January 2025: S token trading begins, and the migration concludes. FTM will no longer be supported after this date.

Will my FTM be safe during the migration?

Yes. Your FTM holdings will remain secure during the process. Once the migration is complete, your balance will reflect the new S tokens.

Can I transfer FTM to another wallet before the migration?

Yes, but transfers must be completed before 13 January 2025 16:00:00 (CEST). After this time, transfers will be disabled.

What happens if I do not transfer or trade my FTM before the migration?

Effective 17 January 2025, any FTM held on Robinhood Crypto will be converted 1:1 to S.

Are other crypto affected?

No. This migration only impacts Fantom (FTM). Other crypto on Robinhood Crypto remain unaffected.

Why can't I transfer Sonic (S) tokens after the migration?

Initially, while you will be able to trade Sonic (S) tokens starting from 17 January 2025, transfers of Sonic tokens will not be available. We will provide updates if and when Sonic (S) transfers become available.
