Wat is Ethereum?

Ethereum (ETH) werd gelanceerd in 2015. Ethereum is een gedecentraliseerde blockchain die slimme contracten ondersteunt - in wezen computerprogramma's - die automatisch kunnen worden uitgevoerd wanneer aan bepaalde voorwaarden is voldaan. De native cryptovaluta van het platform wordt ether of ethereum genoemd. Ethereum is deelbaar tot 18 decimalen. Er is momenteel geen harde limiet op de totale voorraad van ETH.
