Losing a loved one

We understand that losing a loved one is never easy. You probably have questions about what to do with their Robinhood UK account.

After a loved one passes away, please contact us at estates@robinhood.com with the following information:

Your information

• Your name, relationship to the deceased, and your contact information.
• A photo or copy of the front and back of your unexpired driving license or Passport photo page.
• What your preferred contact time is between 13:00-22:00 BST (9:00-18:00 US Eastern Time).

Their information

• Their full legal name, date of birth, and any email accounts they used.
• A color photo of their death certificate (we can’t accept a black and white photo or a scanned copy). If the certificate has a seal, make sure it’s visible in the photo, as well as all 4 corners of the certificate.
• A certified copy of the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.
• If a specific document is required, we’ll request it after our initial review.

This information helps us identify and secure their account as soon as possible.
