What to expect from Robinhood on social media

We only use the above official UK handles listed in the previous table to communicate UK related news, announcements, questions and answers, and updates about Robinhood UK and its products and services. Please be aware that non-UK handles may include information, like products and services, that may not be applicable to you and may lead you to websites that are not subject to our Robinhood UK privacy policy or terms and conditions.

We’ll never go into the specifics of your account like asking for any login details, two-factor authentication (2FA) codes, or personal details other than your email address or case number over social media.

If a social media handle reaches out to you asking for these details or claiming that they work for Robinhood, don’t engage. Never share your account login details, including 2FA codes or any personal information, over social media. Ignore the message and report the incident to ReportPhishing@robinhood.com following the guidance in How to identify and report scams to help us further investigate.

What if I accidentally shared my information?

If you accidentally shared information over social media with someone claiming to be Robinhood, we recommend you take the following actions immediately.

If you still have access to your account:

  1. Select Account (person icon) → in the app, Menu (3 bars)
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Security and privacyDevices
  4. Select and remove any devices you don’t recognize
  5. In Password, reset your password to a strong and unique password that you’ll only use for your Robinhood account, ideally with more than 10 characters
  6. In Two-Factor Authentication, enable it
  7. Report the incident to ReportPhishing@robinhood.com
