Robinhood Raises $363 Million to Expand Product Lineup

The Series D Funding Was Led by DST Global

At Robinhood, we’re guided by the belief that America’s financial system should work for everyone – not only the wealthy. In the past few months, we launched more products to further our mission of democratizing financial services, and brought your investments together on one platform. We released a web platform with research and discovery tools, introduced commission-free options trading, and launched Robinhood Crypto, with commission-free cryptocurrency trading, now available in 10 states (CA, MA, MO, MT, CO, MS, WI, NM, FL, and MI).

Our platform has also grown significantly, reaching over four million users, cementing Robinhood Financial as one of the fastest-growing brokerages ever.

On the heels of this growth, we recently raised $363 million in capital, valuing Robinhood at $5.6 billion. The Series D round of funding was led by DST Global, with participation from new investors Iconiq, Capital G, Sequoia Capital, and Kleiner Perkins. Existing investors included NEA and Thrive Capital.

We’ll deploy the capital by accelerating our product expansion even more, investing in our infrastructure and operations, and hiring more world-class talent to join us along the way.
