Robinhood Chain

The Robinhood Chain testnet is a public blockchain environment used to test new applications, features, and integrations before the full launch of the Robinhood Chain. It allows developers and partners to experiment using test tokens, which have no real-world value, before Robinhood Chain goes live.

Key points:

  • Intended for developers: a safe place for developers to build, deploy, and test apps on the upcoming Robinhood Chain infrastructure
  • Uses test tokens: transactions on the testnet are completed using free tokens that don’t represent real value and are only for development purposes
  • Supported by Robinhood Wallet: developers and testers using the Robinhood Wallet can connect to the Robinhood Chain testnet
  • Not connected to Robinhood customer accounts or real money: The Robinhood Chain testnet operates independently of the main Robinhood app and doesn’t affect users’ investments, crypto balances, or portfolios
