How to use the different spending account dispute types
When you dispute a transaction with your Robinhood Cash Card or a transaction with your Robinhood spending account, we’ll ask you why you’re disputing the charge. We must collect detailed information about your dispute so that we can help you protect your spending account.
IMPORTANT
The following is only for disputes involving transactions made on a Robinhood spending account, including those made with the Robinhood Cash Card. Review Robinhood Gold Credit Card Disputes for details about reporting issues with that card.
The following are a few possible transaction types that you can select when filling out a dispute form.
If you see a charge on your spending account that looks wholly unfamiliar, such as a charge made on your spending account from another state or different location from where you live. Sometimes unauthorized transactions can look obviously fraudulent, and if made with the Robinhood Cash Card, we’ll need details about who has had access to your PIN (if anyone).
Choose this if you’ve paid for merchandise or a service and never received it.
Choose this if you were expecting to pay one amount and were charged a different amount. You can dispute a charge where you have paid more or less than the agreed-upon amount.
Choose this when you withdraw money from an ATM and the ATM doesn’t release the proper amount.
Choose this if a merchant told you to expect a refund from a recent purchase, but that refund didn’t come through.
Choose this when you authorize one transaction, but the merchant charges you multiple times for the same item.
Choose this when there’s a problem with the paid item or service.
Choose this if you were charged after you stopped a recurring payment.
Choose this if you paid for this transaction with another method but your Robinhood spending account or Robinhood Cash Card was charged instead.
