¿Qué es Ethereum?

Ethereum (ETH) se lanzó en 2015. Ethereum es una cadena de bloques descentralizada que admite contratos inteligentes (básicamente programas informáticos) que pueden ejecutarse automáticamente cuando se cumplen determinadas condiciones. La criptomoneda nativa (esencialmente programas informáticos) de la plataforma se denomina ether o ethereum. Ethereum es divisible en hasta 18 posiciones decimales. En la actualidad, la oferta total de ETH no tiene ningún tope máximo.
