Robinhood Cortex Digests are insights that leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to generate plain-language summaries of what may affect an asset’s price or your overall portfolio.

Portfolio Digests use AI to analyze information from your Robinhood account, including holdings and related market data, to highlight news and events that may affect your portfolio. These AI-powered insights cover key drivers for asset price movement and upcoming events that might lead to future movements in your specific portfolio. Digests are available to Robinhood Gold members. For details about subscribing to Robinhood Gold ($5 monthly subscription), check out What’s Robinhood Gold? Within the app for your self-directed accounts, you can view:

  • Digests for assets in a stock’s or crypto’s detail page.
  • Portfolio Digests in Investing across account types, except for IRAs.

Digests leverage advanced AI to synthesize market data, breaking news, research reports, analyst ratings, and other real-time signals to generate plain-language summaries of what may be driving your portfolio’s value or an asset’s price at a given point in time. About Portfolio Digests

With Portfolio Digests, you get a single, easy-to-digest view of key factors related to your account, including:

  • Personalized portfolio insights: Get concise, plain-language summaries of what’s affecting your overall portfolio performance and individual holdings.
  • Upcoming events: Summarizes what upcoming events, like earnings, macro events, or important catalysts that might drive future movement in your portfolio.
  • Actionable context: No jargon, no noise. Just digestible, customer-friendly explanations to help you stay informed and make confident, self-directed investing decisions.

These insights include SPY (SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust) and BTC (Bitcoin crypto) in the chart data, each representing commonly used benchmarks of the market for stocks, ETFs, and crypto respectively. Note that SPY shows regardless of what you’re invested in but BTC only shows if you’re invested in crypto.

In the Digest charts, “You” represents your portfolio performance. The charts use different time periods based on the asset type:

  • Equities charts include data since the prior trading day’s market close
  • Charts for all other assets (crypto, futures, and event contracts) include data since 12 AM local time

Each digest provides:

  • Market backdrop: A summary of what’s driving the markets
  • Return drivers: A summary of investments that are impacting the change in your portfolio value the most.
  • Top movers: A summary of investments moving the most.

Portfolio Digests might not be available to you just yet because it’s part of a rolling release.

Currently, these insights are available for the most popular stocks, ETFs, and all tradable crypto assets on the Robinhood platform. Options and futures are currently not included. Digests are also limited to publicly traded instruments.

Note that data may temporarily be unavailable for securities that are currently subject to a corporate action, such as a stock split, reverse split, merger, or spinoff.
