Robinhood Cortex Digests use artificial intelligence (AI) to help you stay up-to-date with the latest market information. Our AI engine regularly pulls data from a variety of vetted data sources to periodically generate insights. Guardrails are also applied to verify factual consistency, style, and compliance.

Portfolio Digests also analyze information about your account, including holdings and related market data, to highlight news and events that may affect your overall portfolio. Summaries may call out factors that contributed to recent portfolio movement and spotlight upcoming events that might influence future movements.

SPY and BTC are shown in the chart to help compare their portfolios to common market benchmarks. These may or may not be relevant to your portfolio and are not a recommendation.

Data sources range from news providers (like Benzinga, Tipranks, MT Newswires, CoinDesk, Decrypt, and The Block), research reports, real-time market data, analyst ratings, aggregated customer trading activity, and technical indicators. This data is then aggregated into insights.

Portfolio Digests also analyze upcoming events and market driver data from a range of data sources, including economic reports like for unemployment, inflation (CPI YOY), and GDP growth rate.

Cortex Digests are available for the most popular stocks, ETFs, and all tradeable crypto on the Robinhood platform. The stocks are selected based on the number of views of the stocks’ detail page (some exceptions apply). These assets are updated periodically. Note that Digests are not available for all securities or crypto. For example, options and futures are currently not included.

Breaking news generates new insights outside of the periodic generation schedule. When Digests include breaking news, a lightning bolt icon will show in the preview next to the time stamp. If breaking news occurs while you’re reading an insight, you’ll get an in-app notification.
