Why is only some transferred money available?

Your money might be unavailable for a few reasons, including:

  • One of your pending transfers was reversed because of an issue with your bank account. The money from that transfer will not be available in your spending or brokerage account.
  • One of your pending transfers failed due to a one-time system error. This won’t result in any fees. If this happens, you can start a new transfer at any time.
  • You have a duplicate account with no funds. If you see your entire portfolio missing, double-check your email address to make sure you’re logged into the correct account. Please submit a support ticket to close the duplicate account.

The Instant transfers feature is only available to a limited number of people at this time. Be on the lookout for more information coming soon.
