Robinhood Banking

Robinhood is introducing Robinhood Banking, a financial services platform with checking and high-yield savings accounts provided by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC.

To access Robinhood Banking, you need to have:

An invitation: Robinhood Banking is initially rolling out by invite only.
Robinhood Gold: You’ll need to be enrolled in an annual Robinhood Gold subscription ($50) when you sign up for Robinhood Banking. However, you don’t need a Gold subscription in order or prior to receiving an invitation.

You can request access at Robinhood Banking to express your interest in an invitation. If invited, you’ll be sent an email invitation to apply.

Note

A Robinhood Gold subscription ($50/annual) is required for access to Robinhood Banking.

Robinhood Banking app

When you sign up and apply for Robinhood Banking, your new accounts and features will automatically show up in your Banking app.

Robinhood Banking is an app-based alternative to traditional banking that offers checking and saving accounts, different transfer capabilities, integrated perks, family banking features, and more. You’ll be able to access your virtual cards, rewards, and make payments all in one place just like you did with the Banking app.

FAQ

Will I still have access to my Gold Card features?

Yes. All features currently in the Banking app will remain available. They’ll just be organized under the Credit Card tab within the Banking app.

Where can I find my virtual cards?

Virtual Cards are now located in the Credit Card tab, right below your Gold Card.

How do I view Rewards?

If you have both a credit card account and a banking account, you can review your rewards in the Credit Card tab of the Banking app. Scroll down within the tab and select Explore rewards to view all options.

If you don’t have a banking account, your rewards will remain in the Rewards tab.

How do I make a payment?

From the Credit Card tab, you can quickly access the payments page—making it easier to pay your bill, check due dates, and set up autopay. Payments are still available through the menu as well.

What about my Authorized users?

Authorized users are still in the Family tab. This tab includes Credit Card authorized users, banking joint account holders, and child accounts. It’s the hub for all shared accounts.
