About LSK

Lisk is a decentralized network, which enables developers to deploy their own side chains off the main Lisk blockchains. The side chains are fully customizable blockchains, which allow developers to change the parameters to fit various blockchain applications. Although similar to Ethereum and QTUM in some ways, the main difference is that the customizable blockchains split into their own separate side chains. This saves developers the legwork of designing something from scratch. Lisk was founded by co-founders Max Kordek and Oliver Beddows in early 2016.
