Crypto price alerts

Crypto price alerts are push notifications that let you know when a coin has a price movement that meets the selected threshold.

Frequency options

The frequency options are either Less (default) or More alerts. Less means you’ll receive up to 3 alerts for each coin every 24 hours based on your price threshold. More means you could receive as many alerts as necessary for each coin every 24 hours based on your price threshold. However, for both frequency options, you won't ever receive more than 1 alert per hour for each coin.

Opt in to get price alerts

If you currently own crypto and have equity alerts turned on, your crypto price alerts are automatically turned on. The default settings are a 5% price threshold and your frequency is set to Less. However, you can adjust push notification settings any time and customize them based on your preferences.

If you don’t have equity alerts turned on or only have crypto in your watchlist, you’ll need to turn them on in your push notification settings.

If you only have crypto on your watchlists but purchase crypto later, you’ll automatically start receiving price alerts for the crypto you’ve purchased and held.

Turn on price alerts

For coins you own:

  1. Go to Account (person icon) → Menu (3 bars) or Settings (gear)
  2. Select SettingsNotifications & MessagesPush Notifications
  3. Select Crypto Price Movements

  5. Choose your Price Threshold and Alert Frequency

For coins you watch:

  2. Select SettingsNotifications & MessagesPush Notifications

You can also set a custom price alerts by going to a coin’s detail page and selecting the bell icon.

Note

If you own and watch the same crypto, the My Holdings price alerts settings will apply.

Price threshold options

The price threshold options are 5% (default) and 10%. For example, if you set a threshold of 10%, you'll get an alert if a coin increases from $100 to $110 or decreases from $100 to $90.

52 week high/low alert

If a coin you own or watch hits a 52 week high or low, you’ll receive an alert—but only 1 per week.
