We understand that losing a loved one is never easy, and you may have questions about how to handle their Robinhood account. Please know that we are here for you and will help you throughout this process.
It’s important to contact us as soon as you can when a loved one passes away. We’ll first make sure that their Robinhood account is secure so that we can begin assisting you with the estate process.
Please have information about your loved one, including their full legal name, date of birth, and any email accounts they use, available when you contact us. This will allow us to identify and secure their account as soon as possible.
As we begin the process, we’ll also need a color photo of their death certificate (we can’t accept a black and white photo or a scanned copy). If there is a seal on the certificate, please make sure it is visible in the photo, as well as all four corners of the certificate.
After you inform us of your loved one’s passing, one of our Estate Representatives will contact you to help you along the way.
