What to expect from your first advisor meeting
You can use this app link to sign up with an independent advisor. When you sign up for the Advisor Network service, we’ll ask you a few questions about yourself and your investing goals. Based on your answers, we’ll give you a curated list of independent advisors who are affiliated with participating investment advisory firms to schedule a meeting.
For more details about how this service works, check out Advisor Network FAQ.
This is part of a rolling release and might not be available to you just yet.
You can meet with one or more of the recommended independent advisors at no cost to you. Once you find the right fit, you and your advisor will set your fees together. Keep in mind you’ll need a minimum of $250,000 in investable assets, such as cash and liquid investments, that can be managed by the advisor you select.
Your first advisor call will likely be a discovery meeting, a chance to get to know each other, and decide if it’s a good fit. The advisor will have already reviewed what you shared before you connect (your priorities, profile, and account holdings). They'll use the meeting to understand what actually matters to you, not just your numbers.
You can evaluate and meet with matched advisors for up to 6 months before confirming your relationship with an advisor. After that, your access to the Advisor Network in the app will expire. You'll need to complete onboarding again and re-sign the agreement to continue.
When the meeting starts, you can join with the video meeting link provided in the email or in-app notification. You can always reschedule your meeting if anything comes up.
