Connect your Bitstamp account to the Robinhood app
Bitstamp Europe S.A. customers’ accounts will need to connect to the Robinhood app and will only be able to sell or withdraw crypto assets through their Bitstamp app. Over time, all Bitstamp accounts will be connected to the Robinhood app and we will contact you via email when its time to connect your account. Accessing your assets on the Robinhood app before that date allows you to continue trading (subject to verification). You will be able to manage your crypto assets in one place and discover new ways to trade and invest. Learn more about the products and services on Robinhood.
We will contact you when you are eligible to connect your Bitstamp account to the Robinhood app and you will see the banner in your Bitstamp app.
To provide you with a seamless trading experience, all assets supported by Robinhood will be accessible on the Robinhood app. There will be no fees for the connection.
Some Bitstamp customers’ accounts will need to connect to the Robinhood app and they will only be able to sell or withdraw crypto assets through their Bitstamp app. Over time all Bitstamp accounts will be connected to the Robinhood app. After that date, your Bitstamp account will be accessible on the Robinhood app and the Bitstamp app will switch to one of the following modes:

Assets that are not supported on the Robinhood app will stay in your Bitstamp app where you can sell or withdraw them. Once all assets are sold or withdrawn, your Bitstamp app switches to view-only. Account activity and settings, like recurring investments and linked payment methods, will have to be reset.
Make sure your KYC information on Bitstamp is up to date and complete. For security, begin in the Bitstamp by Robinhood app. If you need to come back or start over,start the process again from the Bitstamp by Robinhood app.
Your Bitstamp account will now be accessible on the Robinhood app.

Currently, you can only place market orders. Any open limit, stop, or stop-limit orders on Bitstamp will be canceled and the funds included in your balances.
Staking is not available to Bitstamp customers on the Robinhood app at this time.

Reviews can take up to 5 business days to complete. Robinhood will send more information to the email address on your Bitstamp account.
You won't be able to move your account. Log in to your Bitstamp app to transfer your crypto to an external wallet or withdraw your cash balance, since your account will move to close-only (PCO) mode on that date.
You may be conditionally eligible, depending on the restriction. Contact Bitstamp Support to resolve the restriction on your profile; once it's lifted, you can access your assets.
No. Receiving this invitation does not guarantee eligibility. You must meet all Robinhood and identity-verification requirements to successfully open an account.
