Paycheck investments

How can I invest my paycheck?

You can transfer part of every paycheck into stocks through Robinhood Financial, crypto via Robinhood Crypto, or leave it as cash in your individual investing account earning interest with the cash sweep program.

Split my paycheck

To get started, you need to set up direct deposit for your spending account. After you’ve set up direct deposit, you can split your paycheck between either investments or brokerage cash.

Automatic investments

To transfer a portion of your paycheck into automatic investments in the app or on the web:

  1. Go to Spending
  2. Select Get started under Paycheck investments
  3. Select I already set up direct deposit
  4. Select Investments
  5. Choose an investment or use the search tool to find one
  6. Select Continue
  7. Choose amount type in either dollar amount or percent
  8. Enter the amount and choose the frequency
  9. Select ReviewSwipe up to submitDone
Individual investing account

To transfer a portion of your paycheck to your individual investing account in the app or on the web:

  1. Go to Spending
  2. Select Get started under Paycheck investments
  3. Select I already set up direct deposit
  4. Select Brokerage cash
  5. Choose amount type in either dollar amount or percent
  6. Enter the amount and choose the frequency
  7. Select ReviewSchedule transferDone

How can I view my paycheck recurring investments?

You can view your history in SpendingRecent history.

How can I edit, pause, or cancel my paycheck recurring investments?

You can edit, pause, and cancel your paycheck recurring investments at any time under Paycheck investments.

App

To edit, pause, or cancel paycheck recurring transfers:

  1. Select Spending
  2. Select Manage investments under Paycheck investments
  3. Select the investment you want to change
  4. To pause, switch the Recurring toggle to Off
  5. To edit the amount, tap the amount and enter a new amount
  6. To edit the payment method, tap the payment method and select a different paycheck
  7. To cancel, select Cancel investment and confirm

  2. Select Manage investments under Paycheck investments
  3. Select the investment you want to change
  4. To pause, select Pause investment
  5. To edit the amount, select Edit investment and enter a new amount
  6. To edit the payment method, select Edit investment, and select a different paycheck from the Payment dropdown
  7. To cancel, select End recurring investment and confirm

With paycheck recurring investments, you authorize Robinhood Money to transfer a portion of your paycheck from your spending account with Robinhood Money to your Affiliate accounts. You must place a recurring trade order with Robinhood Financial, LLC to invest in securities or with Robinhood Crypto, LLC to invest in crypto through this program.
