Cash Card Offers

With Cash Card Offers, you’ll get cash back in your spending account by using your Robinhood Cash Card at your favorite brands with no activation required. You can see the list of eligible retailers and cash back percentages you’ll receive in your app or on the web.

How do Cash Card Offers work?

You can earn cash back just by using your Robinhood Cash Card. You can see a full list of qualifying retailers along with the specific offer terms under Cash Card Offers.

Cash Card Offers don’t require any activation. Just make sure the retailer is on the list and that you meet the terms of the offer before making a purchase. When you’ve made an eligible purchase with your Robinhood Cash Card, you’ll be able to see the cash back in your spending account after the transaction has settled. Transactions typically settle within 2 days.

How do I qualify for Cash Card Offers?

Cash Card Offers are available for all spending account customers. Learn more about the Robinhood spending account.

How do I view my cash back?

To view your qualifying cash back transactions and reward history in your app or on the web:

  1. Select Spending or Cash
  2. Select Recent History

After making a purchase, you’ll see an in-app notification that shows how much you have earned in rewards.

To view your total cash back earned:

  1. Select Spending or Cash
  2. Select Cash Card Offers
  3. Select View all offers

Why didn't I get cash back for a transaction?

The following types of transactions aren't eligible for Cash Card Offers:

  • Transfers with your spending account and bank routing numbers (non-originated ACH transfers)
  • Checks issued through Pay by Check
  • Bank transfers (originated ACH transfers)
  • Robinhood Cash Card transactions that haven’t settled
  • Certain retailer gift cards that do not qualify for Cash Card Offers
  • Transactions that aren't processed directly with the merchant (e.g. third-party delivery services)

All offers have limits set by the retailers. If you don’t meet the requirements of an offer, you won’t earn cash back. Make sure to read each offer carefully and look out for the following limitations:

  • Expiration dates
  • Offer usage limit, such as once every 24 hours
  • Minimum and/or maximum dollar spending amounts
  • Minimum and/or maximum rewards per purchase
  • In-store or online requirements
  • Specific store requirements, such as a specific state

Why did the cash back amount change?

Your reward amount is based on the original transaction amount. If your original transaction amount is pending, and then adjusted, your reward will also be adjusted.

Example

If you make a $20 purchase at a qualifying retailer with a 10% cash back, you would get $2 cash back. However, you later discovered that the purchase was $25 after tips, so the cash back you'd receive is actually $2.50.

How do I find the terms for individual offers?

To find the terms for individual offers in your app or on the web:

  1. Select Spending (money icon) or Cash
  2. Select Cash Card OffersView all offers
  3. Select any individual reward to see the offer requirements
Keep in mind

Each individual offer may have limits set by the retailer, such as an expiration date, how often you can take advantage of the reward, in-store or online requirements, spending dollar minimums or maximums, and reward minimums or maximums.

Can I receive both Round-ups and Cash Card Offers?

Yes, you can receive both Round-ups and Cash Card Offers on transactions. While both Round-ups and Cash Card Offers both apply to your Robinhood Cash Card, they don’t affect each other. Learn more about Round-ups.
