The Robinhood Gold Credit Card has its own separate app, the Robinhood Credit Card app. This ensures you have 1 app specifically for investing (the Robinhood app) and another for day-to-day spending (the Credit Card app). Switching between the 2 apps is a seamless experience. You’ll be using the same credentials you use for the Robinhood app to log into the Credit Card app. Download the Robinhood Credit Card app for iOS or Android.
When you use the Robinhood Credit Card app for the first time, you’ll be prompted to verify your phone number and email address and choose your notification preferences. Then you can select View card details to start spending virtually and add your card to your mobile wallet. You’ll also be given the option to automatically link your previously connected bank accounts with Robinhood (including your spending and individual investing accounts) to your credit account.
If you have any issues logging in, go to My account and login for troubleshooting steps.
Your card shipment’s tracking information will appear on the home tab of your app and will be updated as your card makes its way to you! Once your card has been delivered, you can activate your card for in-store spending by scanning the QR code included with your card. You'll also see the option to activate your Gold Card on the home tab of the app. Select Activate to confirm and start spending.
If you don’t see the option to activate after receiving your card, you’ll need to contact our Credit Card Support Team for assistance. You can contact the team in your Credit app by going to Menu (3 bars) → Help → Contact support.
The Robinhood Gold Credit Card is numberless to maximize your account’s security in the event that your card is ever lost or stolen. On the back of your physical card, you should only see your name listed. When you need to enter your full card details to complete purchases, go to the Home tab and select View card details on your Gold Card. You’ll use your secure verification method (Face/Touch ID or passcode) to reveal your card details. You can also copy your card number directly from this screen.
Mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay allow you to store your card’s information virtually and use your phone to complete in-person transactions without your physical card being present. This means you can start spending right away!
You’ll be prompted to add your card to your mobile wallet the first time you access the app (you can always add this later by selecting View card details directly on your Gold Card). This will use your secure verification method (Face/Touch ID or passcode) to reveal your card details. Next, select Apple/Google to add your card to your mobile wallet. You can also do this by going to Menu (3 bars) → Settings → Mobile wallet → Add.
When adding your card to your mobile wallet, you may need to complete a verification step. In order to verify your card with Apple or Google, select the text or email verification option rather than the call option. Next, you’ll be sent a code to your phone or email that you can enter.
You can update your email address, phone number, and billing address by going to Menu (3 bars) → Profile (Your name). To update your email address or phone number, you will be redirected to the Robinhood app. Once the update is complete in the Robinhood app, it will automatically update in the Credit Card app. When you update your billing address in the Credit Card app, it will automatically update within the Robinhood app as well. You can also add a profile picture to your account.
Note that if you need to update your shipping address, you can do so when ordering a new card. If your name needs to be changed, or you’re unable to update your phone number or email in the app, go to Your information for options to update.
If your card is lost, stolen, or you have concerns about the security of your card, you can lock or replace your card directly in the app.
There are 2 ways to lock your card:
Or
Locking your card only disables your card from being used to make future purchases, it doesn’t automatically replace your card. You’ll have the option to unlock your card and continue transacting. If you need to replace your card after it is lost or stolen, follow the steps below.
You can also replace your card by going to Menu (3 bars) → Settings → Report Lost or Stolen Card. You’ll need to answer questions to make sure you don’t have any unrecognized transactions. You’ll also be given the option to confirm your preferred shipping method, require a signature for delivery, and update your shipping address if it has changed since your last card was delivered. Your first card replacement is free, but any subsequent replacements will cost $40. Note that, if eligible, you’ll only get 1 solid gold card. If your solid gold card is lost or stolen, it will be replaced with the regular gold card.
If you’re the primary cardholder, you can lock or replace an authorized user’s card in the Family tab and select the authorized user’s profile.
You can view your transaction history from the home tab of your app under your Gold Card and app notifications. If you would like to search for a specific transaction or view a more detailed transaction list, select All transactions. Then enter the name of the merchant you’d like to search for into the search bar.
The home tab of the app will show you your current balance and available credit. Select info (circled i) next to your available credit under your current account balance and you can review a detailed breakdown of your current balance, credit limit, credit utilization, pending transactions, and available credit.
You can find your APR by going to Menu (3 bars) → Documents → APR & limits.
Within Documents, you can also view your account statements, your cardholder agreement, your rewards terms, and our privacy policies.
Yes, you can! Currently, we’re only integrated with budgeting apps that use Plaid or Intuit. You can read more about this and find a full list in the Help Center by going to Menu (3 lines) → Help → Budgeting tools integrations. When integrating, you should be able to locate your Robinhood Credit account by entering the phone number associated with your Robinhood Credit account. If you’re unable to locate your account this way, we recommend contacting your budgeting app’s customer support directly for further assistance.
If you have already integrated with your other Robinhood accounts in the past, you will need to reconnect with Robinhood for your Credit Card account to show up as well.
