Robinhood Gold Credit Card waitlist
We’re innovating again with the Robinhood Gold Card. It’s the only credit card you’ll need, and it’s exclusively for Robinhood Gold members!
The Gold Card has no annual fee with a Gold subscription, no foreign transaction fees, and you get 3% cash back on all eligible purchases. You’ll also earn even more on travel, earning 5X points when you book travel through the Robinhood travel portal. Terms apply.
Your reward points are redeemable for mystery box rewards, 24k and Solid Gold Cards, travel, gift cards, Robinhood merch, and more. Points can also be redeemed for statement credit or as cash, which can then be transferred to your Robinhood brokerage account to invest, earn interest with the cash sweep program, or withdraw. In addition to the Robinhood Gold Card, with your Gold membership, you’ll have access to a suite of other Gold benefits including: 3.75% APY on uninvested brokerage cash with up to $2.5 million FDIC insurance at a network of partner banks through the cash sweep program and a 3% match on eligible retirement contributions.

If you’ve already tried to join the waitlist and the Spending page hasn’t updated, try signing out, make sure you’re on the latest version of the app, and then sign back in. If you still don’t see confirmation that you have joined the waitlist after completing these steps, try joining the waitlist again.

When you first join the waitlist, you’ll be sent a confirmation email. You can also check on your status directly in the Robinhood app. In the app, go to Spending to confirm that you have joined the waitlist. A gold check mark will show next to You’re on the waitlist as your confirmation. If you joined the waitlist online, you need to download the Robinhood app to view your waitlist status. However, you won’t be able to view your place on the waitlist.
If you have a Spending account and your Spending page didn’t update to confirm your waitlist status, make sure you’ve funded your Spending account and completed the onboarding checklist. Once completed, Spending will update to confirm your waitlist status and allow you to send referral invites.*
Once you’re off the waitlist, you’ll receive an email and an in-app notification confirming you can apply for the Gold Card. You can apply in the app in Spending.
First, join the Gold Card waitlist. When you’re selected to apply, you’ll receive an email and push notification from the Robinhood app as well as see your eligibility to apply in the Spending tab. Just click the link from your invite to start your application. If you have any questions during the application process, you can contact the credit team directly within your application.
There’s no annual fee for the Robinhood Gold Card, however, the card is only available to Robinhood Gold members. If you don’t currently have a Robinhood Gold membership when you apply for the card, once your credit application is approved, you’ll confirm the upgrade to Robinhood Gold membership (including the annual subscription charge) when you accept the terms and conditions of the card. This subscription will be billed to your Robinhood Gold credit card within your first billing cycle. If you already have a Gold membership, we’ll refund a prorated amount for your current subscription and then charge the subscription to your Gold Card. Learn more about Robinhood Gold.
If your application is rejected, you’ll receive an email with additional information about the decision within 7 days. You may be eligible to reapply at a later date. If you’re eligible to reapply, you’ll see the application available to restart in the Spending tab within the Robinhood app. Note that you won’t be eligible to reapply for at least 30 days.
Robinhood Gold Card is offered by Robinhood Credit, Inc., and is issued by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Robinhood Credit, Inc. The Brokerage Cash Sweep Program is an added feature to your Robinhood Financial LLC brokerage account. Interest is earned on uninvested cash swept from your brokerage account to program banks. Products other than the cash sweep program are not insured by the FDIC, are not deposits, and may lose value. Certain conditions must be satisfied for pass-through FDIC deposit insurance coverage to apply. Program banks pay interest on your swept cash, minus any fees or charges paid to Robinhood. The 3% matching on contributions requires a subscription with Robinhood Gold ($5/mo or $50/yr) and customers must stay subscribed to Gold for 1 year after your first Gold match to keep the full Gold match. The funds that earned the match must be kept in the account for at least 5 years to avoid a potential Early IRA Match Removal Fee. Match rate subject to change. Non-Gold customers receive a 1% match.
