Update your address
If you’ve recently moved and have a new residential address, you’ll need to update your address with us.
If your account is currently restricted, you won't be able to update your address in the app or on the web.

Your new address applies to all statements, trade confirmations, or tax documents going forward. It will not appear on past versions of these documents. We'll also send a confirmation notice to your previous address for security purposes. If you have questions about your tax forms after an address change, see this article.
Most address updates are reviewed within 2 business days. Some updates require additional verification and may take longer.

If we need this from you, you'll see the request directly in your app. The submitted document must be dated within the last 60 days.
We check your new address against USPS formatting standards. If we find a standardized version using corrected punctuation, spacing, or abbreviations, we'll ask you to confirm which one to use. In some cases,Robinhood may apply this formatting automatically to comply with USPS requirements.
If you forget to update your address and a piece of mail gets returned, we may temporarily restrict your account until we have the accurate address on file.
