Change your password
If you want to change or update your password, do the following applicable steps.
If you reset your password but still see “Unable to log in with provided credentials,” try these troubleshooting steps:
If you forgot your password and can’t log in, select Forgot Password on the Log in page, and we’ll send you a password reset email to your email address on file.
If you don’t see a reset email within a few minutes, first check your Spam or Junk folder. Then try these steps:
Make sure to set up an entirely new password. If you try to enter the previous password, you won’t be able to log in.
If you’ve lost access to the email on your account, you can still recover your account by verifying your identity a different way:
Open the Robinhood app and select Log in → I need help
Select I forgot my email
Enter your date of birth and Social Security number → Select Continue
When you receive the SMS challenge, enter the code you receive
• If you didn’t receive the code, select Resend Code (Please wait a few minutes for the code to arrive. Depending on your carrier, you may need to retry multiple times. If there’s an error, you may be prompted to reach out to our support team).
Follow the prompts and upload:
• A clear photo of the front and back of your government ID
• A three-point live selfie
Once we’ve reviewed and approved your ID and selfie, we’ll approve your login.
Select Log in and not Sign up to avoid accidentally submitting a new application.
