Agent apps
Robinhood Agent apps let you subscribe to apps from third-party providers to expand what your agent can do. Apps can contain datasets, skills, and other tools that your agent can use directly within Robinhood. Each app is available as a separate subscription.
Agent apps are only available in the Robinhood mobile app and only accessible by agents hosted by Robinhood.
To explore and subscribe to apps:
Most apps charge a monthly subscription fee and offer a one-time, one month free trial. You can review the monthly fee before subscribing, and you can unsubscribe or resubscribe to an app anytime.
You’ll need to subscribe to start a free trial, but you won’t be charged the app’s subscription fee during the trial. Unless you unsubscribe before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically renew, and you’ll convert to a subscription billed monthly. We’ll email you 7 days before your free trial ends.
Some apps are available without a monthly subscription fee. You still need to subscribe to these apps before you and your agent can use them.
Monthly subscription fees are automatically deducted from your primary individual investing account. We’ll send you an email notification 24 hours before each payment is deducted.
If that account doesn’t have enough buying power to cover the subscription fee when payment is due, you’ll be automatically unsubscribed. You can view subscription charges and any subscription refunds in your account history and monthly statements.
App subscription fees are separate from the tokens you purchase to chat with your agent. Your agent still uses tokens when responding to prompts that use an app, including during an app’s free trial or when the app has no monthly subscription fee.
Once you subscribe, you and your agent can start using everything included in the app right away. Start chatting with your agent and ask a question related to an included dataset or tool. You can also try one of the app-specific suggested prompts shown after subscribing.
For example, if an app includes congressional trading data, you could ask, “What have members of Congress traded recently?” The questions your agent can help with depend on the data and tools included in your subscription.
Your agent can use an app’s tools alongside the tools already available through Robinhood. When it uses a provider’s tools, the chat identifies the provider so you can see where the information came from.
To unsubscribe:
If you unsubscribe, you’ll keep access to the app for the remainder of your current billing cycle, and your subscription won’t renew. After that period ends, you and your agent will no longer have access to the app’s tools and data.
If you unsubscribe during a free trial, you’ll keep access for the remainder of the trial without being charged the app’s subscription fee.
Yes, you can resubscribe anytime. However, each app’s free trial is available only once. If your access has ended and you’ve already used the free trial, you’ll be charged when you resubscribe.
If you unsubscribe and resubscribe before your original 30-day free trial ends, you can use the remaining trial time before being charged. Resubscribing doesn’t start a new free trial.
Subscriptions purchased directly from a provider can’t currently be linked to Agent apps. To use the provider’s app through your agent in Robinhood, you’ll need to subscribe through Agent apps.
Your agent needs an active subscription to access an app’s tools and data. If you unsubscribed and your access period has ended, or your subscription was canceled because there wasn’t enough buying power to make a payment, your agent will no longer have access to that app.
A provider outage can also prevent your agent from using an app. When a provider has an outage, you’ll see an error message in chat when your agent tries to use that provider’s tools.
You can check to see what apps you are currently subscribed to with these steps:
You’ll be able to see your active subscriptions and what day of the month your subscription renews.
Robinhood Agents lets you build your own AI agent in the Robinhood app and connect it to a dedicated, self-directed Robinhood account. You choose the LLM model that runs your agent, and you set the instructions and limits that apply. Agents can research markets, analyze holdings, and place trades based on the instructions you provide.
Robinhood Agents and its supporting technology are provided by Robinhood Labs, LLC (“RHL”), a technology company. RHL is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, futures commission merchant, or money transmitter; does not provide investment advice or recommendations; and does not hold customer funds or securities or execute transactions. Brokerage, cryptocurrency, futures and derivatives services are provided by the applicable registered Robinhood affiliates.
Agentic accounts come with trade approvals settings which you can configure to allow automated trade execution. With approvals on, your agent cannot place an order until you approve it. You can turn trade approvals off, and if you do, your agent can place orders without asking you to confirm each one. Engaging with agentic trading entails inherent risks regarding investment outcomes and third-party data policies.
You assume all risk for trades executed by AI agents and for any use of your data by third-party LLM providers. Robinhood does not control, supervise, monitor, recommend, or audit agents.
Agentic trading involves significant risk, including the possible loss of your entire investment. AI-driven strategies may perform poorly under certain market conditions, move quickly, and be difficult to monitor or stop in real time. Your agent can only trade in its dedicated agentic account and cannot trade in other Robinhood accounts. You can pause your agent's automations or disconnect it at any time. This product may not be appropriate for all investors.
AI agents can make errors, misinterpret instructions, act on incomplete or outdated information, and may behave in unexpected ways. Robinhood does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any agent output and is not responsible for your agent's output or for investment losses in your agentic account. Customers are responsible for reviewing account activity, monitoring positions, and ensuring the agent is operating as intended.
Agent apps are built by independent companies that aren't part of Robinhood. The marketplace is operated by Robinhood Labs, LLC, a Robinhood technology company. Subscribing to an app isn't a recommendation from Robinhood, and app data isn't investment advice. Robinhood doesn't verify the accuracy of app data or guarantee how an app will perform.
