Agentic Trading overview
Setting up a Robinhood Agentic Trading account offers you a world of opportunities to uplevel and automate your trading. You’ll first need to connect a third-party AI agent and then follow the on-screen steps to connect it with your Agentic account through the Robinhood Trading MCP (Model Context Protocol).
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI agents connect to external apps and services. Instead of just answering questions, an AI with MCP access can take actions on your behalf.
Your agent can ask about your portfolio value, buying power, and account information, and help with your investing, including placing orders with the different available order types. Ultimately, you are in control of your agent, but the following are a few examples of what you can set your agent up to do for you when it’s connected to your Robinhood Agentic account. Check out Trading with your agent for details.
These examples are provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as a recommendation or endorsement. We’ll be adding more features and capabilities soon.
You are ultimately responsible for the trades your AI agent places in your account. You’re in charge of your trades. When you use an AI agent to place orders, all investment decisions are yours. Before your agent takes action, you can review what it’s about to do. Be aware that if you’ve asked your agent to take action without asking your approval, it can place trades without your confirmation. Review Disclosures for more details about the risks.
When you connect your AI agent to the Robinhood Trading MCP, it will have read access to these data points:
Your agent can only place trades in your Robinhood Agentic account.

Robinhood Agentic Trading is a new type of brokerage product that allows you to connect a third-party AI agent to a dedicated Robinhood account to automate investment decisions and order placement. This product operates differently from traditional investing and trades may be executed by an AI agent without your direct input on each transaction.
Agentic trading involves significant risk, including the possible loss of your entire investment. AI-driven strategies may perform poorly under certain market conditions, move quickly, and may be difficult to monitor or stop in real time. This product may not be appropriate for all investors.
AI agents can make errors, misinterpret instructions, act on incomplete or outdated information, and may behave in unexpected ways. Robinhood does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any agent output, and is not responsible for losses resulting from agent-generated decisions. You are responsible for reviewing account activity, monitoring positions, and ensuring the agent is operating as intended.
You assume all risk for trades executed by AI agents and for any use of your data by third-party AI providers. Brokerage services are offered through Robinhood Financial LLC, ("RHF") a registered broker dealer (member SIPC) and clearing services through Robinhood Securities, LLC, ("RHS") a registered broker dealer (member SIPC). RHF and RHS are not banks.
