Device Monitoring

Device monitoring allows you to view and manage every device that has been used to login to your Robinhood account, such as phones, laptops, or tablets. We recommend regularly reviewing the listed devices and removing any you don’t recognize or no longer use.

If you ever log in from a new device, you’ll receive a text message with a verification code from Robinhood. You’ll have to copy and paste this code into your Robinhood app to finish signing in.

To view and manage your devices

In the app:

  1. Tap the Account (person) icon in the bottom right corner
  2. Tap the three bars on the top right corner of the screen
  3. Tap Security and Privacy
  4. Tap Devices
  5. Tap a device to view further details
  6. Tap Remove Device if you want the device signed out of your account—removing the device signs you out of it and may require you to verify it’s you the next time you sign in from it.

If you notice suspicious activity

Contact support immediately

If you see activity that you don’t recognize or didn’t authorize on your account—or have any other reason to believe it has been compromised—contact Robinhood Support immediately by emailing report@robinhood.com. Keep in mind that the locations listed are approximate.

Secure your account

If you select Secure your account, it will do the following:

  1. You will automatically be signed out of your account on all devices
  2. Your last password will be revoked and you’ll be required to reset it
  3. Your ability to withdraw funds from your account will be temporarily restricted—until you verify your identity
  4. You’ll be required to upload a photo of your ID to verify your identity once you sign in again

If you choose to, here’s how to enable the Secure your Account feature:

  1. Tap the Account (person) icon in the bottom right corner
  2. Tap the three bars on the top right corner of the screen
  3. Tap Security and Privacy
  4. Tap Devices
  5. Tap Secure your account
  6. To confirm, tap Secure Account

Protect your online accounts

After taking the steps above, we strongly suggest reviewing and following these account security best practices for all your online accounts—especially for the email associated with your Robinhood account and your phone provider.
