(« Bitbuy ») offre des contrats sur cryptoactifs pour l’achat et la vente de Bitcoin Cash en vertu d’une dispense de prospectus accordée par les Autorités canadiennes en valeurs mobilières (ACVM) dans la décision de dispense en date du 12 octobre 2022. À propos du Bitcoin Cash

Le Bitcoin Cash (BCH) est une cryptomonnaie créée en août 2017 à partir d’un embranchement divergent de la chaîne de blocs Bitcoin. Elle a été développée pour résoudre les problèmes d’évolutivité en mettant en œuvre une taille de bloc plus grande, ce qui permet de traiter un plus grand volume de transactions au sein d’un seul bloc par rapport au Bitcoin. Une distinction principale de cet embranchement était l’intention d’établir un réseau indépendant avec une feuille de route et une communauté distinctes, plutôt que de fonctionner comme une mise à niveau ou une amélioration du protocole Bitcoin original. En janvier 2026, le Bitcoin Cash reste l’un des embranchements les plus établis du réseau Bitcoin original et continue à se concentrer sur la fourniture d’argent électronique décentralisé de pair à pair avec de faibles frais de transaction.

Réduction de moitié du BCH

Le Bitcoin Cash suit un calendrier de réduction de moitié programmé qui réduit la récompense de bloc de 50 % environ tous les quatre ans, soit tous les 210 000 blocs. La réduction de moitié la plus récente a eu lieu en avril 2024 et a fait baisser la récompense de minage de 6,25 BCH à 3,125 BCH par bloc. Alors que les réductions de moitié précédentes ont suscité des inquiétudes concernant la migration des mineurs, le réseau a maintenu un taux de hachage stable, qui s’élevait à environ 4,80 exahashs par seconde (EH/s) fin 2025. Cependant, comme le BCH partage le même algorithme de minage SHA-256 que le Bitcoin (BTC), sa sécurité reste influencée par la rentabilité relative des deux chaînes. Si le prix du BCH ne parvient pas à suivre le rythme des coûts opérationnels après les futures réductions de moitié, la prochaine étant prévue en 2028, les mineurs pourraient détourner la puissance de calcul vers des chaînes plus rentables. Cela augmenterait potentiellement la vulnérabilité du réseau aux attaques à 51 % ou à d’autres menaces de sécurité.
